I am a freelance photographer from Mumbai. My passion for photography had started when I had gone to U.K to pursue my M.Sc. in 2011. But I felt I needed to learn the finer techniques of capturing the world around me. Hence, after returning to India, post completing the course, I pursued a photography course from National Institute of Photography (NIP), Mumbai in 2013.
I used to work as a Digital Forensic Consultant in one of the Big 4 firms, while continuing to pursue photography as a hobby. While the work took me to different cities and countries, I was always on the lookout to preserve my memories by capturing them as photographs. Though my focus is landscape and architecture, I try not to miss the opportunity of capturing other subjects around me.
After encouragement from multiple people, I took the step towards showcasing some of my work to the lovers of art/photography. The first step in this was exhibiting my work at Mumbai Art Fair, held from 5th to 7th May, 2023, at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai.
In last 21 months I had successfully participated in 20 exhibitions at Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Dubai. This includes a one-week solo exhibition at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai. I am associated with Bouquet Of Art Gallery, Mumbai and showcase my photographs in their exhibitions. I have got my photographs printed on various mediums, other than traditional paper, like sparkle print on aluminium sheet, embossed canvas and Sunboard HD.
