Jyoti Chaudhary Malik is a self-taught artist. After a diploma in photography and fashion designing. She gave wings to her true love in painting. She is an active columnist in a Marathi newspaper as well. She works predominantly in acrylics.
Figurative contemporary work is her style; she focuses on expressions of women's varied feelings at different phases of their lives and their moods. Her subjects are reflections of fantasies and dreams of every girl; her painting gives an impression of the modern, abstract, contemporary style in vibrant colours.
Her work has taught us that life is a journey, not a destination. There is a story behind every painting. She makes art because it has always been the most natural way of communicating. It provides emotional release and helps her work through emotions and feelings that are difficult to put into words.
