I am Roshan Raju Banjara, from Shirpur in Dhule district, Maharashtra. My early education and training at Lalit Kala Kendra, Chopda, shaped my foundation in visual language and artistic discipline. In 2022, I moved to Mumbai to study at Sir J. J. School of Art, where I am currently in the final year of my BFA, continuing to expand my practice through experimentation and inquiry.

My work emerges from an ongoing dialogue between thought, emotion, and form. I do not confine myself to a single medium; instead, I respond intuitively to materials, allowing the idea to determine the process. For me, the medium is not the focus expression is. This openness becomes a way to explore inner states and translate them into visual experience.

I approach art as a space where thought, feeling, and aesthetics converge. Without this balance, I believe a work remains incomplete. Each line, form, and color carries an emotional and intellectual impulse, forming a language through which I understand and articulate my inner world. My practice is not fixed it is fluid, evolving with each work, each experiment, each moment of reflection.

In my completed works, I often encounter a depth within color and form that resonates beyond the surface. My colors are not merely visual elements; they embody states of feeling. The forms I create echo this internal rhythm, allowing me to connect more deeply with myself. What emerges on the canvas is not just an image, but a trace of lived experience an attempt to make the intangible visible.

My art is, ultimately, a reflection of my existence an evolving journey of self-discovery, where every work becomes both a question and an answer.
