Artist Sakshi Vilas Jalvi (BFA) |  Fine Artist & Printmaker

The Artistic Vision
Sakshi Vilas Jalvi is a Mumbai-based Fine Artist and Printmaker who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Sir J.J. School of Art. Her practice is a raw examination of the "internal war" we face, exploring psychological landscapes through the visceral medium of printmaking. Specializing in zinc etching and the gum-bite process, she utilizes sharp, expressive lines to mirror these hidden conflicts. In her paintings, Sakshi applies sand directly to the canvas to physically portray the roughness of life, layering paint over the texture to expose the depth of feelings carried within.
