Mumbai, April 24, 2026: The iconic Taj Art Gallery at The Taj Mahal Palace hosted the 3rd Group Art Exhibition – Global Art Confluence, a prestigious one-day event that united international diplomats, senior officials, and 33 artists from across India and abroad.

The exhibition started by offering rich tributes to Padma Bhushan Late Shri Ram V. Sutar, the eminent sculptor and designer of national pride “Statue of Unity - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel”. It followed with lighting of lamps by Chief Guest H.E. Aliaksandr Matsukou, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Mumbai, along with Guest of Honor Dr. Vijay G. Kalantri, Chairman World Trade Centre. The distinguished gathering included Padma Shri awardees: Dr. Prakash Kothari (Medical Luminary), Uday Vishwanath Deshpande (Mallakhamb Guru), Premjit Baria, (Eminent artist).

Prominent dignitaries gracing this occasion were Nidhi Choudhari, IAS (Director, National Gallery of Modern Art) and Prerna Deshbhratar, IAS (Commissioner of Fisheries) Prashant Patil, IRS (Additional Director, Ministry of Finance), Prof. Him Kumar Chatterjee (Vice – Chancellor: Sir J. J. School of Arts), Dr. Kishor Ingale (Director) and Prof. Waghmare (Former Director) both from Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra), and Sunil Deore (Eminent Sculptor).

This event was organized by Rajkumar Sharma of Kala Sanvad, curated by Nandoo Saraswati, concept designer by Harshit R. Sharma and encouraged by Jagadish P. Purohit, the exhibition witnessed strong participation from collectors, media, and art enthusiasts, marking it as a significant cultural milestone in Mumbai.
