The World Art Conclave (WAC) Art Expo - 2nd Edition was inaugurated on March 6, 2025, evening at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai, in the presence of distinguished guests, renowned artists, curators, art buyers, and art enthusiasts. Organized by Rajan Jadhav, Pravin Gangurde, and Dinesh Adole, the event received an overwhelming response from the art fraternity.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing enlightenment through art. Esteemed dignitaries present included Mr. and Mrs. Aliaksandr Matsukou, Consulate General of Belarus in Mumbai, Mr. Kishore Khabiya Jain (CMD, Khabiya Group), Mr. Ganpath Kothari (CMD, Kothari Group), Mr. G. G. Waghmare (Ex-Director of Art, Maharashtra), Retd. Justice Dr. D.K. Sonawane, Mr. Vasant Sonawane (J.J. School of Art), Prof. Mogglan Shrawasti, Dr. Bhante Prashil Ratna (Sanghakaya Foundation), Mr. Bharat Dabholkar, and Mr. Bhagwan Rampure and other dignities.
The dignitaries delivered inspiring speeches on the role of art in shaping society and fostering cultural exchange. Dr. Bhante Prashil Ratna highlighted the rich artistic heritage of India, and its art. Mr. Aliaksandr Matsukou applauded WAC’s efforts in fostering global artistic collaboration, while Justice Dr. D.K. Sonawane acknowledged the role of artists in cultural and social awareness.
A special mention was made of Mr. John Double D, an artist from London, reflecting WAC’s global reach. A press conference followed, where organizers and dignitaries discussed WAC’ Art Expo mission to promote diverse art forms and establish Mumbai as a global art hub.
The expo is organized by Answers OneWorld a full-service creative, media, event, exhibition and expo management Co. and supported by Rajkumar Sharma (Kala Samvad), Associate Media Partner, played a key role in amplifying the PR & outreach.
